How much does it cost to get a tattoo?
Tattoos are based on an hourly rate. Specifics (size, placement, detail, style, colour or black & grey, etc.) are all a factor in the final price.
Do I need an appointment /Are walk-ins welcome?
Appointments are necessary for bigger or higher concept pieces that require a consultation. Walk-ins are welcome for smaller pieces (on a first-come first-serve basis); Artists are not always available for walk-ins so it is best to call ahead.
Do I have to leave a deposit?
Yes, you must leave a deposit. You are reserving the Artists time on the day of the tattoo, as well as the time that goes into preparing your artwork beforehand. NOTE: deposits are non-refundable. $40 cash deposit for small/medium pieces. Larger pieces (full sleeve, back piece etc.) may require a larger deposit.
Is there a shop minimum?
How old do I have to be to get tattooed?
18 years of age, or 16 with parental permission.
Can I get a tattoo if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
It is our shop policy not to tattoo women when they are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have further questions about this it is best discussed with your doctor.
What do I do if I need to reschedule an appointment?
You are able to reschedule an appointment by calling the shop a minimum of 72 hours before your appointment, if you fail to do so your deposit will be forfeit to the Artist.
Does it hurt/how should I prepare for my appointment?
Every tattoo hurts to some degree.
We suggest doing the following to help you stay comfortable during the tattoo process:
- Get a good night’s sleep before the day of your appointment.
- Eat a healthy breakfast.
- Shower, brush your teeth, put on deodorant.
- Wear (or bring) comfortable clothing that will allow your artist access to the area being tattooed.
- Stay hydrated.
- Relax, sit back, and allow your artist to work without too much distraction.
- DO NOT be intoxicated/hungover during your tattoo session.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, of course.
Can I bring my own design/do you provide design services?
Yes. Keep in mind your design may have to change slightly to be suitable for a tattoo, our artists will work with you to make sure you are happy with the design and end result. You can also bring in visuals and/or concepts for our artists to create a custom piece.
Is there anything you will not tattoo?
Yes. The artists at Fantality Tattoo reserve the right to refuse work on concepts they see as racist, overtly hateful, crude, on or near the genitals, or other areas of the body that may cause the artist discomfort. All artists also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason.

Do you do cover-ups/rebuilds/fix tattoos?
Yes, our artists are experienced in this type of work.
Can you tattoo over scars or stretch marks?
Yes we can, but it is best to discuss specifics with your artist.
Can I tan?
Sun can damage your tattoo over time so it is best to protect it with sun screen. Be sure to avoid direct sunlight or tanning booths during the healing process.
Do you do piercings?
Can I shave the area of my new tattoo?
Wait until you are healed before shaving the tattooed area.
